Q1:
what is the common practice of archiving Revit models on project server?
my company is stepping to use Revit from the next project instead of traditional 2D AutoCAD.
by using Revit, each discipline shall be obligated to link the other models and coordinate frequently between them, however by using AutoCAD,each discipline is working seperately from the others, and we send the CAD drawing by mail once finalize it.
in order to overcome this point till now ,i created on project server 2 main folders
1-3D models folder which contains all central models having name couldn't be changed throughout the project .
2-Revisions folder which contains all 2D drawings of each discipline and detached model from central model related to that revision.
Q2:
how Could i customize Revision history table in title block?
revision history table has standard parameters which couldn't be changed or add any parameter to it such( issued to,issued by,revision description,....)
i want to add another parameter (approved by) ,but it isn't applicable even if i insert a new parameter in revision history schedule .
