However, it seems that having a food blog is even more popular considering so many people are interested in trying out different recipes or simply sharing their own experience with different diets or various healthy foods. If you believe you’re creative and bold enough, if you really love to experiment in your kitchen and you’re passionate when it comes to cooking, you can give food blogging a chance. However, having a food blog is not as easy as it sounds, especially if you’re a restaurant owner and want to use the blog to attract more customers. The crucial thing for a food blog is having a good visual representation of your work, so whether you’re a professional chef or simply want to show your love for cooking, here are some tips you might want to stick to in order to have a successful blog: Space for taking photos If you want to have a serious blog that will show your skills, you really don’t want to put a plate of food at a random place on a random table and just snap a photo of it. Instead, try to design a special corner in your kitchen specifically for making photos of your creations. You can decorate that place in an authentic way, but don’t make it too flashy because you want your food to be the center of attention. Food on the plate Another thing you want to avoid is simply plopping the food on a plate. Choosing the right plates and cutlery is really important because you want your viewers to have a complete and beautiful picture in front of them. Make sure you arrange the dish in an attractive way and wipe the edges of the plate to get a nice, clean look. Photographer Photos of your food are the most important part of your blog, so if you’re not really good at snapping pictures, you might want to consider hiring someone who has experience with professional food photography. Unfortunately, no matter how amazing your dish turned out to be, if the photograph of it isn’t good, you won’t get the attention you’re seeking because your customers or simply your blog visitors won’t be interested in a recipe that isn’t accompanied by a nice photo of the final dish. Is it about the taste or a good photograph? Unfortunately, we can’t taste that cake we’re looking at over our screen. And, the taste of the food you’re presenting is very important. The first thing the viewers see on your blog is that nice photo of the dish you made and the next thing they’ll check are the ingredients you used so make sure they’re of good quality. Once your visitors make the meal themselves, they’ll return to your blog to see what else you’ve made. So, use the photograph to get the attention of the visitors and the amazing recipe to guarantee they’ll return to your blog. So, whether you’re a restaurant owner or simply a cooking aficionado who wants to show your amazing skills and creativity to the world, you can use an attractive blog to do that. Remember to be original, keep the blog design clean and easy to navigate, and most importantly, take photos of your work because that will make it noteworthy.Like
